Patsy Roumanos

October 18, 1947 — November 12, 2022

Patsy (Newberry) Roumanos passed away on November 12th in Mesquite, NV. Born in Fort Worth, Texas on October 18, 1947, she was the middle of nine children born to Robert & Louise Newberry. She spent the majority of her childhood growing up in Florida, working with her father's construction business, running her own produce business, fishing, boating and raising horses; until one fateful moment where she had taken her nieces to fish on a Florida dock. There she met the love of her life, Bobby Roumanos. After the two married in Connecticut a few short months later, they built houses, owned a Men's Clothing Store and went on to raise four children.

Patsy was a gifted seamstress who often made clothes for family and friends, later this talent transformed into quilt making, and provided many happy and warm memories for those that she loved. After moving to Nevada in 1976, Patsy worked as the head cashier in several well known Hotels until she realized her gift of sales in the modular building industry. She was well respected in this field and had received many national accolades for her custom designs and sales achievements. Patsy enjoyed her time with family more than anything, however she also enjoyed hunting, quilting and fishing.

Patsy was preceded in death by her husband Robert; her daughter Kathy, her granddaughter Abigail, her parents Robert Newberry & Louise Newland, and her sister Kathy. She is survived by her children; Kellie (Ken) Day, Mary Roumanos-MacDiarmid, and Rob (Amy) Roumanos; her 11 grandchildren, Ashleigh, Andrew, Jacob, Kathy, Amelia, Victoria, Elizabeth, Joey, Evelyn, Robby & Adam; Her sisters Joanne, Jeanette, Betty; and her brothers Bobby, Dennis, Randy and George; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Services will be at 11 a.m. Mon., Nov. 28th, at Saint Sharbel Church, 10325 Rancho Destino Rd in Las Vegas.

In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Saint Sharbel Helping Hands for the Needy, 10325 Rancho Destino Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89183.
