Philip Paul Rossi, 60, of Las Vegas, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born June 8, 1952, in Long Island, N.Y., and was a longtime Nevada resident. He had been a musician before entering the casino industry in various positions, including surveillance and later general manager of the Alystra Casino in Henderson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor R. and Frances Rossi and brothers, Roy Rossi and Robert Rossi. He is survived by his loving wife, Kelli daughters, Amber Rossi, Kyla Rossi, Natalie Rossi and Crystal Maribelli sons, Dustin Rossi, Victor Rossi and Brandon McCary grandchildren, Noa, Jordyn, Skylar, Isabel, Connor, Ivan, Brandon, Victoria, Cole, Alexis and Troy his special nephew, Mitchell Rossi sisterinlaw, Marci and niece, Marie. Celebration of life will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 20, at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
