Rayburn D. Cooper

March 30, 1936 — February 5, 2013

Rayburn D Cooper a resident of Las Vegas for 54 years passed away February 5, 2013. He was born in Long Beach, CA on 3301936. He is preceded in death by his bride of 58 years, Sondra. He is survived by his three children, Deena McClain, Rick Cooper, Raymon Cooper, seven grandchildren Robert, Dalina, Douglas, DArce, Adam, Jasmine, Tessa 4 Great grandchildren.

Rayburn enlisted in the US Navy on February 7, 1958 as a submariner serving on the USS Bugara and was discharged on Feb 1, 1962. He moved his family back to Las Vegas where he became an iron worker, owned his own business Custom Ornamental Iron and was involved in the building of many of our prominent buildings and skylines such as the MGM, Rio Towers, NY NY, several high schools and the Nevada state prison at Indian Springs.
