Rheta E. Kelley was born in Vernal, Utah on December 19th, 1929 to Orvel & Ethel Ellingford as Rheta Ellingford. Rheta peacefully passed away on February 4th, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 94.
Rheta attended Eastonia High School, in Vernal Utah. She graduated in 1947.
Rheta met Clifford Kelley and they married in 1947. Married 45 years.
Rheta received an honorable mention award in 1934 from the Sears National Baby contest.
Rheta was a daughter of the Utah Pioneers-Sego Lily Camp.
Rheta was very involved with Girl Scouts for over 20 years. Receiving many awards and accomplishments.
Rheta was very involved in her Mormon church. She held many different positions in the church. Including Relief Society President and also worked in the employment office of the church.
Rheta also had a stroke in 1962. With determination and a lot of help from Dad, she was able to almost fully recover and raise her family regardless of her disabilities. She was very well loved by her family and friends.
Rheta was proceeded in death by Her husband, Clifford, her oldest son Lynn, her daughter in law Mary, her daughter in law Vickie and her son in law, Chuck.
Rheta is survived by her son, Bob Kelley, her daughter, SueAnn Worden, and her daughter Kristine Irvin and son in law Scott Worden.
Rheta had 9 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and she got to meet her great, great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 11:00, Saturday, February 17th at 7500 Tule Springs Road, Arbor View Mormon church.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 Saturday 17that Davis Memorial Park
Pallbearers will be Kris King, Dan Kelley, Ben Kelley, Mike Kelley, Keith Hanoff, and DJ Salomon.
