Richard D. Dalke

Richard D. Dalke, age 74, of Las Vegas, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2011.

Richard was the son of the late Walter and Anna Dalke. He was born and raised in Manistee, Michigan, and moved to Las Vegas in his early 20s. He worked for, and retired from, the Clark County Department of Public Works.

He was a lover of all animals, big and small. During his lifetime he had various dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles and even monkeys. He enjoyed spending time in the desert and in his yard with his many plants, flowers and trees.

He is survived by one sister, Betty Rod Sorenson and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents eight brothers and two sisters.
