Richard Scott Donohue, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and son, 71, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away peacefully at home on February 10, 2025. He was born on October 20, 1953, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to his loving mother, Hazel.
Scott was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. and later dedicated 30 years to the U.S. Postal Service before retiring as Branch Manager. He was known for his intelligence, financial savviness, and commitment to a healthy lifestyle. He provided unwavering guidance to his family and friends, always offering wisdom and support to those around him.
Beyond his professional and family life, Scott had a deep love for adventure and the outdoors. He found joy in fishing, camping, golfing, and traveling the world. He cherished time spent at the beach, embracing the serenity of the ocean and the beauty of nature.
He is survived by his wife, Nouth Singsongseum "Ping"; his children, Scott "Bucky", Steven, Stephanie, and Wynn; his grandchildren, Dominic, Sierra, Alex, Makayla, Bentley, and Trisha and his brother Doug. He was preceded by his mother Hazel and siblings, Michael and John.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 16th at 10:00 AM at 6200 S. Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, Nevada 89119. In lieu of flowers, your prayers are most cherished.
Scott Donohue's legacy of wisdom, adventure, and love will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
