Richard Raymond Dubovick

Richard Raymond Dubovick was born on May 19, 1933 in South River, NJ, to Gustave and Pearl Dubovick. He attended South River High School and graduated in 1950 at the age of 17.

He then attended Pennsylvania Military College, where he graduated in 1954 with a degree in Political Science. Upon graduation, he joined the Regular Army and was shipped off to post-war Korea. Richard survived 2 parachute jumps in which his chute malfunctioned and two tours in Viet Nam.

Ritchard married Joan Szymanski in 1957 later having three children, Donna, Mark, and Ronald. They had a marriage lasting 60 years. After Richard retired from the Army in 1976, Richard moved his family to Las Vegas, NV. He worked a second career for the Clark County building department as a Safety inspector. Joan preceded Richard in death in March 2017. Upon retirement from the County, Richard and Joan enjoyed extensive traveling around the world to both familiar and exotic places.

Richard is survived by his sister, Myrna Bilotta, three children, Donna Bragg (Tom), Mark Dubovick, Ronald Dubovick (Brenda), grandchildren, Brent Dubovick (Maria), Ryan Dubovick, Avery Ames, Kayden Ames, great-grandchildren, Little Brent Dubovick, nephews, and a niece.
