Richard Gonzales

Richard Riggie Gonzales, age 84, a 23year resident of Las Vegas, passed away February 26, 2011. He was born August 10, 1926, in San Pedro, California. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Nevada and was a retired truck driver. After his retirement he enjoyed playing in senior softball leagues and betting on his favorite sports teams. He was preceded in death by his wife, of 50 years, Dolores Marie. He is survived by his three children, Richard Denise Gary Sherri of Las Vegas and Vickie Bob of Cypress, Calif. three brothers, Henry, Jack and Manuel sister, Louise all of California seven grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren. A memorial celebration will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, at Westminster Memorial Park in Westminster, Calif.
