Richard Dean Oliver

Richard Dean Oliver of Las Vegas passed away July 25, 2015 at the age of 77 years old. He was born in Muncie, Kansas to John Oliver Sr. and Ethel Oliver.

He moved to Las Vegas and in 1971 began his Engineering career working in the Casino industry for the Golden Nugget. Dick Oliver also worked at The Mirage, Treasure Island and Bellagio Properties. He was respected and loved by many friends, co-workers and family. He will be greatly missed.

Preceded in death by parents John and Ethel Oliver; Brothers Jack Oliver, Elmer Oliver and Bob Oliver; and his loving wife, Delora Oliver. Richard Oliver is survived by his son Bill Oliver (Tina), grandchildren Beau Jaramillo, Jordyn Farewell, and Nycole Oliver and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 8:30 am at Faith Community Lutheran Church located at 2700 S. Town Center Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89135. Graveside services to follow at 10:00 am at Davis Memorial Park located at 6200 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89119.
