Rick (John) Dejesus

Rick (John) DeJesus of Henderson NV passed peacefully after a brief battle with colon cancer at the young age of 64. May Rick rest in eternal peace. Born in Philadelphia, Rick is the son of John (Ismael) and Elizabeth DeJesus of Naples Florida. Rick was preceded in death by his grandson, Kyle. Left to cherish his memory is his devoted wife, Jill; son, Ricky and his wife Janine; 2 granddaughters, Presley and Penelope of Henderson NV; son, Alexander Michael; son, John Jr.; and son, Aram.

He will be sadly missed by his sisters, Elizabeth (Lizzie) of Bensalem PA, Sharon Ricci and Joseph of Bensalem PA; brothers, Stacey and Brian; and his closest friend Dave Rief. Rick was a graduate of Bishop Newman South Philadelphia High School and Philadelphia Wireless. He was also a member of Steam Filters Local 480. He was a standout baseball player and had a passion for coaching. An avid sports fan, he loved the Philadelphia Eagles and hated the Dallas Cowboys. His passion was his family and his work as an expert in commercial refrigeration and HVAC.

A memorial service will be held in near future in Bristol PA where Rick resided for 35 years before moving to Las Vegas area. Condolences may be posted on the website. Standout baseball player and a passion for coaching. An avid sports fan, he loved the Philadelphia Eagles. He hated the Dallas Cowboys.
