Robert G. Kilmer, CPO USN Ret

March 12, 1946 - April 5, 2024

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert Gerard Kilmer, a devoted husband, loving father, and respected veteran who served his country with honor. Born in Niagara Falls, New York, on March 12, 1946, to Frederick and Beatrice Kilmer, Robert peacefully passed away in Las Vegas, NV.

Following his high school years, Robert enlisted in the United States Navy, where he met and married his beloved Ruth in 1965 during his time at NAS Dallas. A dedicated serviceman, he traveled to various locations before settling in Las Vegas in 1994. Robert worked diligently in maintenance at Nellis Air Force Base and later in security at the University Medical Center Hospital. He was a proud member of RPEN.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Frederick, Donald, Garry, and his grandson Jade. He is survived by his loving wife Ruth and their children Robert (Dorothy), Raymond (Sharon), and Richard (Danielle). He also leaves behind several grandchildren and two great-grandsons.

A visitation in memory of Robert Kilmer will be held at Davis Funeral Home on Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family will be arranging an entombment at the Veterans Cemetery in San Diego to honor his legacy and service to the nation.

As we gather to honor and remember Robert's life, let us bid farewell to a man of integrity, bravery, and unwavering dedication. May his memory forever remain in our hearts.
