Robert Paul Shoals

Paul Robert Shoals, 68, of Las Vegas, passed away January 7, 2011. He was born January 6, 1943, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and was a resident of Nevada for 15 years.

Paul Robert Shoals overcame the inequities of segregation and his humble origins to become a role model for his family, friends and community.

Paul served his country and community with distinction as a veteran of the U.S. Army in Korea, with 31 years of service with the Los Angeles Police Department and nearly 12 years as a bailiff with the Clark County court system.

One of Pauls favorite pastimes was travel, and he enjoyed sharing photos and stories of his many adventures around the globe.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elma sisters, Irene and Joanne.

Paul is survived by his wife, Linda his brothers, Charles and Wilfred his daughters, Eileen and Angela his son, Aimery as well as his nieces and nephews.
