Robert Siddall, a Las Vegas resident for 58 years, passed away Feb. 28, 2012. Bob served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany and Korea. He worked as an engineer in the hotel industry, but most often mentioned his employment for 18 years with Wayne Newton, first as a bodyguard and later as ranch manager. He loved fishing and restoring his prized 1957 Chevy BelAir. He also loved boating when he and his soninlaw Andy could get the boat running. He is survived by his wife, of 31 years, Brenda and their three children, Valerie Anderson and husband Andy, Steven, and Jamie four grandchildren, Amber Treas of Citrus Heights, Aaron Treas of Livermore, Travis Anderson, and Jacob Anderson, both of Grass Valley. He will also be missed by his devoted companion Brandi, his German Shepherd.
