Robert Sturiale 72 of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away May 28, 2020 in his sleep of natural causes. He was born in Astoria, New York on October 31, 1947. He grew up in the Bronx. In 1966 at age 19 he joined the Navy. He was first stationed in Alaska and later stationed in Mira Mar, California. While stationed in Mira Mar in 1968 he met Charlene Wentler who he would later marry in 1970 and have four kids. Between 1970 and 1978 he was the drummer and back up singer in three separate bands The Travelers Four, The Fuzzy Frogs, and Family Circle. In 1978 they moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where he would become a 21 dealer at the Stardust Casino until they closed in 2006. He later worked at the Bighorn Casino until he was unable to continue working. He is proceeded in death by his parents Joseph Sturiale and Inez (Ronde) Sturiale. He is survived by his younger sister Diane Garvey, his four children Dawn Sturiale (Ramone), Roberta Sturiale (Ron), Taunya Sturiale (Dooda), Lawrence Sturiale, his loving Ex Wife Charlene Sturiale, Eight grandkids James, Donavon, Dominick Neveah, Alex, Alyssa, James, and Samuel, and five great grandkids Jaylen, Jahsai, Aliyanna, Ajelle, Dakhari, all of Las Vegas, Nevada.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved. We miss you daddy and we love you.
