Robert L. Wigfall

survived by 3 sons, Robert Jr. Mary of san Diego, Michael Patricia and Philip Michelle of Las Vegas, 2 sisters, Wilhelmina register new jersey, and Lydia Alvin Forrest of Georgia, six grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and two sisters

Robert Lad Wigfall was born in the farmlands of South Carolina, September 26, 1928 to Samuel and Francis Wigfall.
Robert married his sweetheart Bettye Maupin Sherman Texas in 1952, who preceded in death in 2008, after 56 years of marriage. To this union were born three sons.

Robert joined the us air force in 1947. His very distinguished career of service included serving in two wars, the Korean War and Vietnam conflict. He was awarded the very prestigious air force and joint service commendation medals along with many others.

He moved to Las Vegas Nevada in 1971 where he returned after 28 years of service at the rank of SMSGT, and lived until he departed this life on Wednesday, January 23, 2013.
