Robin Rasmussen

Robin Mary (Barone) Rasmussen passed through the gates of Heaven surrounded by her family on May 12, 2023. Robin was born in Rutland, Vermont, on August 23, 1954. She moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 1959 and graduated from Sandia High School in 1971. Robin married Jerry Rasmussen in 1987 and they raised their family in Albuquerque prior to retiring in Jacksonville, Florida, and later in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was in the process of relocating back home to Albuquerque to be near her children, grandchildren, and lifelong friends. Robin had a wonderfully precious soul. She was incredibly sweet, silly, funny, and enjoyed life. She enjoyed traveling, board games, movies, reading, and spending time with her family. She gave her family her everything and loved them with all her heart and soul. She leaves a hole in our hearts that will never be filled and she will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Charles and Shirley (Eddy) Barone, and her best friend "Kitty". She is survived by her husband, Jerry; her son Joshua and his wife Monique; her daughters Nicole and Omecha; her adoptive son Tommy; her grandchildren Marissa, Mya, Cesar, Emilina, and Bionca; her great-granddaughter Imagine; her brother Chuck and sister Nancy; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her treasured "doggies". A small private celebration of life in Albuquerque will occur at a date to be determined.
