Rod worked for Vons Grocery for 30 years managing stores in both California and Nevada. He left Vons to join Southern Wine and Spirits for the last 3 years. He was a team player and all coworkers and customers enjoyed working with him.

His hobbies included offroad racing, dirt bike riding and long Harley Rides, including multiple Sturgis trips. It was rare to find him sitting at home resting unless there was a Packers game or Nascar Race on TV.

Rod was always a giver and did so until the end as he was a Registered Nevada Donor and will be saving many lives.

He will be greatly missed and was loved by all.

Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at 1 P.M. at Davis Funeral Home.
