Rodney Craig Hamlett

Rodney C Hamlett, 61, passed away peacefully in his home on February 2, 2024 in Las Vegas, NV. He was born May 3, 1962 in Atlantic City, NJ where he was a graduate of Atlantic City High School, class of 1980. He spent the majority of his career employed as a casino dealer and supervisor both in Atlantic City and Las Vegas. Rodney enjoyed supporting and being involved in family sporting endeavors, summer family vacations, and going to Applebee’s. We believe Rodney would like to be remembered as the guy who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. We remember is laugh and most of all, his quirky jokes. He is predeceased by his mother Wanda Nadine (Suggie) Hamlett in 2003 and survived by his father Harvey Williams, step-mother Juanita Williams, his children Nazeer, Kaylen, Rodney Jr., Malik, his grandson Xavier, and his siblings Michelle, Mia, Eric H, Julian, Geno, and Eric B. He is also survived by his two previous spouses Kelly and Stephanie, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
