Rodolfo Rudy Villaluz, of Las Vegas, passed away August, 17, 2013. He worked as a purchasing clerk at Sunrise Hospital for 23 years. He was a devoted husband, of 41 years, to his wife, Carolina Carol, who he courted for nine years before their marriage. Rudy and Carol began their lives together in the Philippines before leaving for the United States in 1972. They began to build their own family with the birth of their son, Paul, in 1975 and their daughter, Ruby, in 1979. Rudy was an excellent master of the American and Filipino cuisines. He enjoyed Scrabble, game shows, crosswords and the Los Angeles Dodgers. He loved and cherished his three dogs while growing vegetables in his garden for his latest culinary creations. His legacy lives on in his two grandchildren, Noah 7 and Goldie 4. He had a healthy sense of humor that will be missed by all who knew him.
