Surrounded by loved ones, MGySgt Ronald Gaudioso passed away in his home in Deerfield Beach, Florida after a long fight with cancer.
Ron was born on September 30th, 1948 in Rochester, New York to Helene and Clarence Gaudioso. Ron enlisted following high school with Marine Corps and served in the Vietnam War. He served over twenty years with the Marines and retired as Master Gunnery Sergeant. During his lifetime with the Marines he earned many honors and awards. Ron walked his road of life with a charismatic charm and valor that touched the hearts of many. Ron had the tough exterior of a Marine but on the inside, he had a giant heart of gold. He loved so many people and wanted them to be the best they could be. It was a great honor to be a part of Rons life. He legacy will go on as we live his memory through what he has brought to us with his love, wisdom, and kindness.
Ron is survived by his loving wife Pat Gaudioso and children Lisa Daniel Borden, Emily Danny Grier, Matt Lauren Gaudioso, Dennis Mandy, Nicholas Stephanie, and Michael Gushue. He loved his grandchildren Nicole, Ethan, and Brent, and has another granddaughter on the way. Ron leaves behind many family members and loves them all.
We will never forget you Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Uncle, Cousin, and Friend. Your time on earth was to short but you are forever in our hears and your memory will stay strong. We love you so much and there will never be a moment that we will not miss you. The angels took you to heaven to be with God and and someday we will see you again.
Visitation and services will be held at Davis Funeral Home at 6200 South Eastern, Las Vegas on Wednesday January 8th. Visitation is from 3:005:00, service is from 5:006:00. Burial with honors will be held on Thursday January 9th at 12:00 p.m. at Southern Nevada Veterans Cemetery in Boulder City.
