Ronald Edward Miller

Ronald Edward Miller, 57, passed away on July 25th, 2019 in Henderson Nevada. Ron was born in Henderson Nevada to Ted and Freda Miller on June 21st, 1962. Ron dedicated his life to law enforcement, first working as military police in the Army. Then with Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department as an Officer and Detective for 25 years before retiring in 2011. He ended his career as a Detective with Boulder City Police Department. Ron had a passion for comics and movies, riding his motorcycle, weightlifting, and all things Disney. Ron was known for his lifelong dedication to his community and family. He was also known for his unique fashion sense and he was never without his toothpick. He was funny, smart, and generous. Ron was married to Carrie for 8 years. He had two previous marriages to Dawn and Karla. Ron is a beloved father, husband, and officer. Ron is survived by his wife Carrie; his children Brie, Tara, Eddie, and Morgan; brother Tod and sister Tracie; his parents Freda and Ted; his grandchildren Aroara, Gus, Oakley, and Finley; and his furry kids Oliver, Franny, and Neville.

Funeral Services will be held on August 1st, 2019 at 12:00 pm at Davis Funeral Home in Las Vegas Nevada. Burial will be held on August 2nd, 2019 at 8 am at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City Nevada. 

Pallbearers will be his son Eddie, brother Tod, son-in-laws Andrew and Jesse, former partner Jeremy, And fellow officers Mike, Tim, and Mark.
