On October 1, 2023, Ronald Clarence Ward returned home to Jesus. Ron was born November 9, 1944, in Hayward, California. Ron began his career working as a baker at Chuck’s Chuckburger in Hayward. Wanting to provide a better life for his family, he began trade school as an electrician. He worked his way through school and obtained a position as an electrician for Campbell Chain in Hayward. He wasn’t content and began taking college classes during the day while he worked a full-time job at night. Ron continued his education and eventually become a Facilities Manager at the Federal Buildings in San Francisco. Although he retired from there and then acquired a job as Facilities Manager at San Francisco University.
He believed that the most important thing in life was taking care of his family. He earned the title of Patriarch, not only to his immediate family, but to his extended family as well. His love and caring for everyone will be missed by all his family. He will always be in our prayers and in our hearts. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia Ward, children Janinne Ward and Sandra Ward; Grandchildren Ronald Green and Amanda Green Cornejo and her husband Armando Cornejo, and son-in-law John Green, and siblings Sally Ramirez and Michael Belmont. He was preceded in death by his mother, Hortensia Belmont; Father Clarence A. Ward; and step-father Fidel Gregorio Belmont; and his beloved sisters Frances Dominguez and Lillian Delgado; and beloved brothers Henry Rose, and Eugene Ward. (Romans 12:10)
