Rosa Emma Lopez

Rosa ""Rosie, Chita, Rosita"" Emma Lopez was born on August 29, 1943. She lost her battle with pancreatic cancer at age 75 on February 3, 2019 at the Nathan Adelson Hospice Center in Las Vegas, NV.
Rosa was born in El Paso, TX to Eutimia Murrillo Realyvasquez and Manuel Realyvasquez. She was the 13th child in a family of 15. She worked in the El Rancho Unified School District in Pico Rivera, CA as a secretary for over 30 years. The majority of her years in ERUSD she worked at Rivera Middle School, influencing the lives of many students and colleagues.
Rosa is survived by Edward Lopez, her husband of 57 years, 2 daughters, 8 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. Also surviving are 2 brothers and 1 sister.
