Rosalio "Chalio" Ramirez-Garcia

Rosalio Ramirez-Garcia, 65, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother was called to his eternal resting place on November 1, 2020. He entered this world on April 5, 1955 in Guanajuato, Mexico, born to Gracia Garcia-Celio and Macario Ramirez-Parra. He was lovingly called Chalio by his friends and family.

Rosalio was raised in Mexico, but has lived in Texas, California and Nevada. He started working at the age of 8 and along with his brothers helped his father with the harvest. Their hard work paid off when he and his brothers purchased their parents a house. Rosalio lived in Texas, moved to Glendale, CA in 1986 and moved to Las Vegas, NV in 2005. Rosalio loved the outdoors, he couldn’t be confined indoors. He worked his entire life in Landscaping. After retiring at the age of 62, he enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with family and friends. He grew vegetables in his backyard and taught his granddaughters how to harvest them in the desert. He had a wonderful sense of humor. Anyone that met him enjoyed his company. He was always willing to help everyone. He was a hardworking man right until the day he fell ill with COVID-19. He was a good husband, a wonderful father, a great father-in-law, and doting grandfather.

Rosalio is preceded in death by his brother Guillermo, his daughter Maria Candelaria and his father Macario.

Rosalio is survived by his wife Candelaria, his daughter Erika, his son Mario, his son-in-law Humberto, his brothers Elias, Arturo, Salvador and Francisco, his sister Socorro, his mother Gracia, his granddaughters Leslie, Emilie and Rosalie, as well as his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on November 23rd, at 4:00pm – 6:00pm. A memorial service will be held on November 24th, at 9:00am – 11:00am at Davis Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 6200 S Eastern Ave Las Vegas, NV 89119. A Funeral Mass will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 5485 E Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89142. Burial will follow at Davis Funeral Homes & Memorial Park.

The family of Rosalio wishes to extend their appreciation to all that sent prayers during his stay at the hospital. A sincere thanks to everyone that donated and helped raise funds to give him a peaceful resting place and the farewell he deserves.
