Rose Kakouris

Rose Kakouris passed away at 8:30 pm Sunday in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was
87 years old.

Rose was well loved by all who knew her. She was full of energy and joy her
entire life. She was from Gary, Indiana the daughter of Louis & Theadora
Gallatis. She attended Froebel School. Her early work career started out as a
model in Chicago. After modeling she met Bill Kakouris and started a family.
She then started working at the Mademoiselle Bridal Shop in Hammond, IN.
where she was manager for over 20 years. She later worked at Wicke's and
Kane's furniture stores, until she retired in 2003.

Rose loved to travel with family and friends.

She is survived by her brother Nick Gallatis and wife Beverly, nieces Cathy,
Christine and Mary Beth. Her brother in law Paul Kakouris and wife Maria.
Nephews Nick Coveris and wife Patty and family, and Leo Coveris and family.
Her son, George and wife Magdalena, and grandson Adam. She is also
survived by her other sons Lou Kakouris and Christopher Kakouris.

She will be missed, but never forgotten.
