On August 1st, 1960 Rushell Zanders Sr. and Ella Lowe Zanders birthed their only child Rushell Zanders Jr. in Louisisna. There he lettered in Basketball, track, and football for Ponchatula High school which earned him a basketball scholarship to Louisiana State University (L.S.U.). After a knee injury he then moved to Los Angeles California to pursue his passion and live out his purpose. While living with relatives he embarked upon employment with Avis Rental Car at LAX airport. He quickly moved himself into a position of independence, and began a new life as an adult. He worked for Avis just over 20 years. While living in Los Angeles he was blessed to have his son Rushell Zanders III. His journey of success lead him to relocate in Las Vegas Nevada where he was blessed to have his daughter Ella Rae Zanders. In Las Vegas he made a name for himself as the ""suit man"" selling men's wear. While being employed at Dillard's department store he excelled and remained a leading salesmen with excellent customer service on a consistent bases year in and year out. Late in 2015 on December 2nd God called him home to his final resting place.
