Salvadora ""Sally"" Sison Baltar was born on December 25th, 1935 from her mother, Irene Valencia and father, Mauro Sison. As a child, she grew up with siblings: Adelaida, Aurelio, Avelina, Evangeline, Flor, Marcelina and Marcial. At the age of 21, she met Pedro Baltar, a sailor in the US Navy and they eventually married. They had their first child, Prescillo, followed by Pedro Jr ""Junin"", Pablito ""Boyet"" and Patrick before moving to the United States, where many years later, they had Stephanie. She became a grandmother to many grandchildren: Shanna, Philip, Janine, Jazmarie, Paolo, Matthew, Michael, Candis, Anthony, Kayla, Lia, Ken and Maddox.
Everyone loved coming over to visit her in whichever house she made a home. It never mattered where it was located. Whether it was the house on Twinlake Drive in Sunnyvale, CA or Vegas Valley Drive in Las Vegas, NV. Each home you walked into felt felt warm, and there was always hot food on the table prepared by her just in time for your arrival because she knew weeks in advance the very time and day you would be there. Even if you arrived in the middle of the night after a long travel to visit her, she was sitting on the couch ready to answer the door--again with hot food on the table just in case you were hungry at 3 AM. She remembered every single birthday of every member of her family. You can be assured to receive a phone call between 5 - 6AM from her wishing you a happy birthday. No one can deny that Sally was a good, Catholic woman who lived life following her beliefs in the best possible way a she could. She never spoke a word of profanity, took her children and grandchildren to church, honored her husband and always put her family before herself. She was a woman who never asked for much and gave everything she had in life to make sure her family and friends were taken care of. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her kindness, her sweet chuckling laughter that put a smile on the face of every nurse who had cared for her through her most difficult time and the pure goodness she had projected into every life she touched.
