Sandra Dawn Brown, a long time resident of Las Vegas, ascended on Thursday, April 21, 2011 with her family at her side. She was born on Tuesday, October 6, 1970 in Killeen, Texas to Eve Brown.
Sandra was an amazing and compassionate young woman. Her lifes story filled with medical battles and yet she maintained a positive attitude and lived each day with grace.
She was an animal advocate and dedicated much of her time to rescuing homeless pets and was a supporter of feral cats spay and neuter programs. Sandra enjoyed watching hockey games, loved a good pro wrestling match and was quite the pool shark.
Family and friends describe her as a strong and positive woman who never gave up. She touched many lives during her short, earthly life and was loved by all she met. Sandra always played by the rules, and strove to treat everyone with kindness and respect. Throughout all the challenges, she was amazingly optimistic. A spiritual woman whose motto was believe.
She is survived by: Eve Brown, devoted mother, Stephen Brown, loving bother, Frank Huber, her love and soul mate, Nita Andrieu, loving sister, Madeline Andrieu, adoring niece, Justin Noel, admiring nephew, and pets: Whisper, Keikoa, Squiggles and Nubs. As well as many, many friends
Services will be held at Davis Funeral Home on Eastern, on Thursday, April 28 at 5pm. The family will receive friends 30 minutes before the service time.
