Scott David Molaro

October 31, 1957 — May 16, 2020

Scott David Molaro, 62 of Henderson, NV unexpectedly passed away at his home on May 16th, 2020. Scott was born in Chicago, IL on October 31st, 1957 to Joseph and Emily Molaro. He was the 4th child of 5 children.

Growing up in the Chicago Suburbs Scott was active with his youth church groups and loved to play baseball where he played on both the Little League & Babe Ruth leagues. A graduate of Downers Grove North High school, Scott went on to earn his Bachelor Degree from Illinois State University and passed his certification exam as a Certified Public Accountant, all this by the young age of 20 years old. His parents were so proud!

He found new joy and fun becoming an avid Bowler, and one of his proudest moments, he was able to match his 2 older brother’s record by bowling a ‘perfect’ all strikes, 300 game and getting his “300 ring”! It was at a bowling alley he met his wife Terri Marie (van winkle) of 35 years, and they were married on Feb 22nd, 1985.

In the early 1990’s Scott moved his family to fabulous Las Vegas, NV to join his beloved mother and sister who had recently made the move themselves. He had a 25 year career as the Director of Finance for VTN a Las Vegas fortune 500 company. Only recently retiring, Scott was looking forward to spending nights by the bonfire and stargazing in his newly acquired RV and taking hikes with his granddaughter. His family was his world. Scott would do anything he could to help out and did not like to see anyone struggle. He was a good man with a caring and giving heart.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents Joseph & Emily Molaro, his older brother Frank Molaro and his brother in law Vince Janowich. He is survived by his wife, Terri Marie, his daughter Brandy and his 2 grandchildren Sydnee Marie Stonebraker and Greg Darius Stonebraker. Also survived by his sister Joan (Vince) Janowich of Orlando FL., His brother Joseph (Marcia) Molaro of Chicago, Il and his baby sister Tina Molaro (Stan Knuksta) of Las Vegas, NV. His many nieces and nephews, cousins and a select pick of close friends. You will be greatly missed!

Though his passing was not related, due to the covid 19 pandemic a private family viewing was held on May 21st at 4pm. This untimely and unexpected tragedy has left the entire family heartbroken. Till we meet again, you will always be in our hearts and never forgotten!
