Scott Morrison

Scott Denton Morrison, age 75 of Las Vegas, passed away on May 22nd, 2023. Scott was born to George and Mary Morrison Dull on November 7th, 1947. Scott was born in California and grew up in Tainan, Taiwan. He lived in Colorado, California, and Ohio before settling in Las Vegas, NV.

Scott was a wonderful man, loved by all whose lives he touched. His witty sense of humor brought joy to those around him. His kind and loving soul showed in how he treated others and has passed on within his children and grandchildren. Together with Carol, his soulmate, Scott was a force sharing kindness, laughter, and love while making each moment count. Scott was proud to be a soldier in the US Army, serving in multiple tours in Vietnam. He joined the service at 17 and received the Bronze Star before being honorably discharged. He wanted to be buried with his brothers and is now at peace among them. He will be missed every day but leaves with us everlasting kindness and love in our hearts.

Scott is survived by his wife Carol Morrison, sister Gloria Sharp, sons Matthew and Scotty Morrison, daughter Michelle Dupree, son-in-law Marcus Dupree, stepdaughter Charlene Becerra, stepson Justin Miller, daughter-in-law Sarah Miller, stepdaughter Hethyre Tesnow, and son-in-law Patrick Tesnow. Grandchildren are Parker Taylor, Mckenna Dupree, Noah Miller, Brennan and Sophia Becerra, and Kelsey, Bailey, and Joseph Tesnow. Nieces and nephews are Laura Rocha, Rob Sharp, Nicole Offord, and Darren Sharp, plus many great nieces, great nephews, and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 24th, 2023 at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, Nevada 89005. Meeting at 9:40 in the chapel for services at 10:00 a.m.
