Scott Christopher Werner passed away on December 17th, 2024 at the age of 54 in Las Vegas, NV.
Scott Christopher Werner was born and raised in Staten Island, NY on April 9th, 1970 to Marian and Gerard (Rod) Werner. He soon became the eldest brother to his sister, Amanda.
Scott was hard-working and dedicated. He spent over 20 years working as a Network Engineer, where he was known for his hospitality, attention to detail and love of innovation. Despite his many responsibilities, he always made time for his family and his passions.
His hobbies and interests helped define who he was. He enjoyed traveling and discovering different ways to enjoy food, often spending his weekends looking for the best local joint to eat at and support. His love for video games and entertainment was something he shared with his daughter, Whitney, making the two an unstoppable duo whenever it came to teaming up.
Scott was known to his family and friends as always being the life of the party, but he was also willing to go to the ends of the Earth if someone ever needed help. Whenever things got tough, Scott proved to many and all that he was tougher, and was tough to the very end.
Scott was preceded in death by Gerard James Werner, and is survived by his mother Marian, his sister Amanda and brother-in-law John Rongo, his daughter Whitney and son-in-law Christopher DiMaiolo, his niece Veronica, his nephew John, and his cousins.
Information about Memorial/Celebration of Life Services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Scott’s family asks that a donation be made either to the American Cancer Society or Shatterproof, an organization focused on breaking the cycle of addiction.
