Sean Michael Noonan

July 14, 2002 — March 29, 2024

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of our son, Sean Michael Noonan, on March 29th, 2024. How do we begin to explain the impact he had on his family and friends during his short 21 years on this earth? Born in Voronezh, Russia he entered our lives as an absolute gift and made our family complete. As a young boy, his smile could light up a room and the twinkle in his eye melted our hearts.

Sean's gentleness with nature was evident in his love for animals and the environment.  He adored all animals, taking time to befriend the most random animals on the street.  He treated each with kindness and affection, especially his dogs, Ember, and Sparky.  Sean had a passion for music; spending many hours listening to a variety of music that soothed his soul and sharing his curated playlists with friends and loved ones.

Sean would also say he was a "Foodie", often enjoying creating culinary delights in the kitchen and sparing no expense with ingredients, especially bacon. He would often prepare beautiful meals at home that were thoroughly enjoyed.

Sean’s curiosity led him to try every sport he could.  Rugby, skiing, skateboarding, soccer, baseball, karate, surfing, and wakeboarding. He especially enjoyed being in nature with the beach and the forest being his happy place.  Sean traveled extensively with family and was particularly fond of Canada, where he spent many summers and hoped to attend school closer to family. Following graduation, Sean became a student of computer science, showing dedication and persistence in his studies, a testament to his inquisitive mind and desire to learn.

Sean is survived by his loving parents, Michael, and Beverly (Assman) Noonan, who will forever hold him in their hearts.  Along with his grandparents Herb and Julie Assman, and Elizabeth Cross, he leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins in Canada and Ireland and many friends around the world who loved and adored him.

As we celebrate Sean's short, but meaningful life, we are reminded of the beauty he found in the world around him and the joy he brought to those fortunate enough to know him.  May he find peace in the embrace of those who have passed before him.  Sean, you are deeply missed, but your memory will forever be cherished in our hearts.

The family will not hold a service at this time. In lieu, we ask that you cherish your best memory of our boy, gone too soon, and smile as you send him in peace, love, and light to his next life.

In place of flowers, please consider donating to ASPCA or an animal shelter near you in Sean's honor so we can continue to care for animals as he did.
