Stephen M. Farr, 54, of Las Vegas, passed away suddenly Wednesday, March 23, 2011. He is now at peace with his Heavenly Father. He was born Dec. 28, 1956, in Hamilton, Ohio, and was a 25year resident of Nevada. He entered the U.S. Navy after attending Ohio State and faithfully served his country as an electronic technician. Steve later worked at EGG in Las Vegas. In addition, Steve worked for 12 years as a radar field engineer for Lockeed Martin. He enjoyed music and playing his favorite Beatles and Fleetwood Mac songs on his guitar. He attended Friendship Church of God and Christ where he sang in the choir. Steve loved fishing, repairing household items and barbecuing. He will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, James Farr of Las Vegas. Those mourning his loss include his mother, Edith M. Farr of Las Vegas sisters, Barbara A. Rash of Haymarket, Va., and Nancy Steven Giorgione of Las Vegas brothers, James A. Farr of Las Vegas, and Douglas Farr of Norfolk, Va. and several nieces and nephews. Service will be private.
