Stephen Wyatt Withey

Stephen Steve Wyatt Withey, 51, of Las Vegas, passed away March 30, 2010. He was born March 1, 1959, in Lexington, Missouri, and was a 36year resident of Nevada. Steve graduated from Rancho High School in 1977 and later was the first Withey child to complete college, graduating from U.N.L.V. in 1981. Stephen will forever be remembered for the love and great care that he gave, especially to his beloved parents. His brothers and sister will always cherish the memories of him, whether it is how he influenced their choice of music or whether it is thoughts of eating Stephens homemade pies and gingerbread cookies at Thanksgivings and Christmases. He was preceded in death by his mother, Delores Ann Withey. Stephen is survived by his father, Frederick Withey six brothers and one sister, Stewart Withey, Peter Withey and his wife, LaVonne, Paula Alexander Withey, Duane Withey, Donald Withey, Lance Withey and his wife, Susan and Leslie Withey. Stephen will be especially missed by his nine nephews and nieces who were not given enough time to share his compassion and wisdom. His nieces and nephews are Tyler, Sheila, Michael, Rachel, Christopher, David, Matthew, Dylan and Magdalena. Memorial services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 1, at Davis Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Marys Catholic Church Altar Society, 401 West Broadway Street, Higginsville, Missouri 64037.
