Steve "Chief" Eilers

Steve ""Chief"" Eilers, passed away unexpectedly Oct. 21, 2016. Steve was born Nov. 17, 1966, in Cleveland, and was an avid Buckeye, Cavalier, Indians and Browns fan. Steve graduated from University School in Shaker Heights, Ohio in 1985, Harvard in 1989 and received his MBA from Kellogg School at Northwestern in 1994. Steve had a successful career in the beverage industry most recently with Premium Waters. His career in the beverage industry kept him traveling frequently and keeping his ""1K"" status on a major airline. Steve was an airline enthusiast who loved to travel, watch sports, politics and play with the grandkids. Steve is survived by his wife, Evelyn; parents, Stu and Allie Eilers; his sister, Lisa Eilers; his niece, Claire; his stepdaughter, Sarah; and two stepgrandchildren, Adelyn and Arlen Vance. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Steve will be laid to rest with a view of the planes taking off and landing from McCarran International Airport. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the www.lifeAct.org in his memory.
