Steve Was Born on May 26th, 1947 In Cincinnati, Ohio, and was preceded in Death by His Mother Carrabelle Vigar, and Father Herbert Cassidy. Steve is survived by his wife of 32 years Linda Cassidy His son Christopher Cassidy, His brothers Michael, Jon, and Steve Strobel along with his sisters Donna Cassidy and Julie Flood, and Brothers David and Joe Cassidy
Steve was a Great Husband, Father, and Friend. He served in the United States Marine Corps fighting in the Vietnam War. After that, he settled down in Las Vegas, Nevada where he met and married Linda Chaimee Leeshanok. After getting married they had a Son Christopher Cassidy. During their 32-year marriage, they lived between Las Vegas, Nevada, Bradenton Florida, Parrish Florida, and Sebring Florida, California, and ended up back in Las Vegas where they met. Steve had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He was a collector of movies and loved his Horror movies and Documentaries. Steve would always tell me “Life is short so enjoy it” And that is exactly what we are going to do. We are going to be celebrating the life that he Lived and remembering all the great memories we had with him.
Funeral services will be held at 8 AM on the morning of July 8th, 2022 at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 1900 Veterans Memorial Dr. Boulder City, NV 89005. Please arrive 10 minutes early. After the funeral, everyone is invited to attend a Memorial Brunch at 445 Heritage Bridge, Henderson Nevada 89011, located in the Community of Heritage at Cadence. The brunch will be located in the Club House and is starting at 9:30 am
