Steve Enriquez, 76, of Henderson, NV, passed away on December 18, 2023.
Steve was born in San Fernando, CA to Louis and Armida Enriquez on November 4, 1947.
Steve was raised in Granada Hills, CA where he went to school and eventually graduated from Granada Hills High School. He was drafted into the Army and served in Vietnam from 1968-1969 and was then honorably discharged at the end of his service. Shortly after coming home from Vietnam, he got a job with the City of Los Angeles in the Recreation and Parks Division and served there for 30 years before retiring. He had a great love for motorcycles from a very young age and continued to ride Harley Davidsons for most of his life. He was also very interested in the Native American culture and volunteered at the Antelope Valley Indian Museum. He moved to Henderson, NV in 2019 and enjoyed life greatly spending time in the swimming pool, barbequing, listening to music, going to see ZZ Top in concert, and playing pool with his daughter, son-in-law, friends, and neighbors. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandson, Hank the Frenchie.
Steve is survived by his daughter Andrea Southam, son-in-law Bill Southam, sister Esther Enriquez, brother Louie Enriquez, sister-in-law Sharon Enriquez, his Uncle Gilbert, nieces, nephews, and many cousins. He was a devoted and loving father and will be greatly missed.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on February 16, 2024 at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery with Father Gabe officiating. Interment will follow at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are by Davis Funeral Home.
