Susan A. Velasquez

Susan Angela Velasquez (ne Stoduto), until the age of 45, lit up the world with her infectious laugh. Her special nature, made everyone excitedly enjoy everything she experienced. Her motto was Carpe Diem (Seize the day).

She attended St. Joseph's Girls High School in Kogarah, Australia through December 1985, St. George Technical College in 1986, the College of Insurance of NY in 1994, New York University in 1995, and later completed two years at the University of Phoenix New Jersey branch.

In most places, Susan enjoyed working as an Administrative Assistant, with more than 20 years of experience in various industries, including banking, legal, and insurance. She started her career in Southern Hemisphere's largest financial market, Sydney, Australia. After having gained much experience at various corporations such as CIC Insurance, and Kemp, Strang, and Chippendall Lawyers, she moved to New York at the age of 21, where she initially worked at York Claims Service, Murphy & Jordan and Congress Financical Corporation. Her latest endeavor was to move to Las Vegas, Nevada where she enjoyed working at Window World.

With a full life of education and variety, in Susan's pursuit of happiness, she travelled extensively, enjoyed a variety of foods, music, and always tested her curiosities. Proud of her Australian background, Susan delighted in representing her native country well, and visited there whenever possible.

Left in contemplation are her loving family, to include her husband, Bonifacio ""Bob"" Velasquez, her mother Modesta Ana Stoduto, and her brother Gabriel Stoduto. Susan's father Anthony Stoduto predeceased them. Her many friends and colleagues will miss her greatly far and wide, as will her beautiful cats, Bella and Zen.

Although her last day with us was March 9, 2015, her lively personality will stay vibrant forever in our hearts.
