Sylvester Lopez Jr.

Sylvester Sy was born in Colorado, was raised in Nebraska and lived most of his life in Los Angeles California.

Throughout his life he remained true to his entrepreneurial spirit by creating many small businesses with an emphasis in sales. He was always a fan of sports and an active participant in all things related to his one true love, music.

Sy is survived by: two sisters, Emma Irene Zubia and Martha Lopez three brothers, Abelardo Antillon, Gilbert Antillon, and Richard Antillon four daughters, Shelia Camargo, Angela Cervantes, Michelle Cervantes, and Lina Lopez one son, David Lopez 12 grandchildren, Laura Aguilar, Monica Camacho, Angelica Escobedo, Jesus Escobedo, Warren Escobedo, Jasmin Cervantes, Xavier Cervantes. Eliana Lopez, Adan Lopez, Ilan Lopez, Vincent Lazarit, and Zavier Lazarit 5 great grandchildren, Luis Aguilar, Aundrea Aguilar, Isabel Martinez, Cristian Fernandez, and Leila Melvin.

Needless to say, he left everyone all too soon. We ask that his spirit be taken swiftly to his next journey.

A memorial service is scheduled for Sylvester on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at St. James Catholic Church in Kearney Nebraska at 10:30AM.
