Maria Teresa Benito, was born on May 12, 1944 in Manila, Philippines.
She graduated from high school in 1959 from Urdaneta School of Commerce. Briefly, she attended Dagupan Colleges from 19601961 before transferring to the University of Santo Thomas where graduated in 1964 with a degree in social work.
On January 6, 1966, she wed Eduardo Apelo and gave birth to a daughter, Leiah Marie Concepcion later that year on December 8, 1966. The following year, she had a son, Edmund Joseph, on December 15, 1967.
In February 1970, she immigrated to the United States to live in Washington, DC, where she worked for American Chemical Association.
In 1975, she and her husband moved west to Chicago Illinois where she worked for Blue CrossBlue Shield.
In 1978, she and family moved to Las Vegas working as word processor for different law firms and title searcher for different title companies throughout the years.
A devout depositor of the different casinos in Las Vegas throughout the years, she was the mistress of the poker machines and onearm bandits.
Terry, as she is known to a lot of her friends and coworkers was also the queen of jokes. You could always rely on a joke or 2 or 3 from her each day.
Monica, as she is known to her relatives, was the sister everyone wanted to spend time with when they visited Las Vegas as her house was a revolving hotel door for visitors.
A lady with a giant heart a lady with an infectious laugh a lady with an arsenal of jokes a lady every one could count on up to the last day of her Earthly life she never wavered or wandered as a daughter, mother, sister, cousin, aunt, grandma, and most of all, friend.
