Thomas DeCelles

September 12, 1974 — September 22, 2020

Thomas Sean DeCelles, 46, left Las Vegas when he was drafted by God, the Creator, on
September 22, 2020. Tommy was an obvious pick for his wit, intelligence, strength, courage,
kindness, and compassion that will certainly add to the all-star roster of some of the most recent
cross-over inductees like Ruth Bader Ginsburg, John Lewis, writer & director Carl Reiner, &
Chicago Bears running back Gale Sayers and the many many others that have left us in 2020.
Tommy was born on the Fort Belknap Reservation in Montana on September 12, 1974, to
Thomas Edward DeCelles and Colleen Joy O’Connor.
Tommy attended grade schools throughout Montana and graduated from Green Valley High
School, in Henderson, NV in 1993. He married Lillia Arellano and together they had two
wonderful children, Kira Danielle, and Thomas Matthew. They meant the world to him. He loved
introducing them to the simple things this life has to offer and his appreciation for music and art
influenced all those around him. He was an excellent artist, story teller, and chef. His children
bragged often of his gourmet meals that would bring the family together. He could make anyone
laugh, whether he was telling a joke, dancing topless, slinging drinks, or burying a loved one.
His kindness and spirit was something to be admired.
Tommy Sean, or Basiinen to his ancestors, was preceded in death by his grandparents August
& Elva DeCelles, his grandmother Marlene Maness, and his cousin Andrew Stoll. His spirit will
live on and he will be deeply missed by his daughter Kira Danielle DeCelles (21), his son
Thomas Matthew DeCelles (14) his siblings Michelle & (Richard Schenk). Jon (Jasmine)
DeCelles, and Susanna DeCelles. His Grandparents Tom & Sandy O’Connor, his mother,
Colleen O’Connor-Osgard from Billings, his Father Thomas E. DeCelles, his Uncle’s Jon
DeCelles, Richard DeCelles, Mark O’Connor, Mike O’Connor, his aunts Cheryl Antar, and Terri
Stoll.
