Thomas W. Driscoll

Thomas W. Driscoll, 57, of Chicopee, Ma. died Sunday morning Feb. 28 as a result of a homicide in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was the son of the late Daniel Driscoll. Survived by his mother Marie (Vickie) Driscoll. His sisters Michelle Kivell and her husband Hank Devlin of Sundown, N.H. and Patricia Driscoll of Chicopee. Pre-deceased by his sister Maureen Monteleone of Warrenton, Va. And sister Kathleen Driscoll who died in 1956. Many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Tom also had many, many friends who will never forget him. He will be deeply missed by long time companion Annie Chong and her two sons Brian and Evan Hsia who were very dear to Tom. Tom was a graduate of Chicopee Comprehensive High School, Holyoke Community College and Westfield State University. He served with the Connecticut State Police for 22 years, retiring in 2009. Tom loved spending time at his family’s camp in Maine. He enjoyed fishing, landscaping and being outdoors. He was an avid hiker and was getting ready to hike the Pacific Crest Trail for his second time. A celebration of Tom’s life will be held later in the summer at the family camp in Maine.
