Timothy Rondal Bruce, 65, beloved Husband, Son, Brother, and Father, was called to his eternal resting place on March 3, 2024. He entered this world on August 18, 1958 in Louisville, KY, born to Harvey and Joyce Bruce.
In 1958, a famous horserace known as the Kentucky Derby was won by a horse named TimTam, and we always believed our life together was predestined. We met 26 years later and began our own "run for the roses"; a race we won several times over beginning with our union, the births of our sons and the blessings we found along the way. Tim was my everything, friend, lover,partner-in-crime, protector, anchor and my back-up for remembering things. He made sure very little if at all, could cause me pain, stress or grief. He gave us a wonderful world in which to live, viewed by some as "sheltered" for which we were greatful and happy! I love you more and more every day and always will.
Tim & I were so good together, always had each other's back, cheered each other on, celebrated every victory and learned from every defeat. Tim's strength, talents, and dedication to our family is why we couldn't lose. He was the captain of our cruise in life. When we promised for better or worse, there was no way we could've known what that would mean, but as the years went by we came to understand. It meant that whether things were running smoothly or got a bit crazy; whether one of us needed a friend in our corner or just a smile to remind us everything would be okay. It meant that our love is real, we are here for one another, we're in this together-- for better, for worse, for always and beyond. I love you babe.
Tim is survived by his wife Tammy Bruce; brother Gary Bruce; brother Steve Bruce; sister Richelle Burress; son Anthony Bruce; son Trevor Bruce; mother Joyce Welch.
