It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Avelino Tony Cunanan, 64, of Las Vegas, went to Heaven May 5, 2011. He was born November 10, 1946, in Pampanga, Philippines, and was a 37year resident of Nevada.
Tony served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He proudly owned Tony Cunanan Insurance Agency in Las Vegas for more than 30 years. He was very active in the Filipino Community. He attended Central Christian Church. Tony was loved by many and will be missed by all. He was a man of faith, integrity, loyalty, bravery, kindness and truly cared for everyone above himself. He lived a righteous life of sacrifice and service. He was a father to all who knew him. He brought joy and happiness to every life he touched. His beautiful grandchildren were his pride and joy. The love for his wife, of 46 years, Diana, was the most powerful love a man could have. He lived for his family, never for himself. He loved God and God loved him.
May he finally rest in peace.

We love you Poppa and are so proud, so blessed and so thankful to have lived this life with you.
He was preceded in death by his father, Proceso Cunanan and his mother, Melencia Manansala.
Poppa will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife, of 46 years, Diana Cunanan his five grateful children, Elizabeth Julieta Christensen, Melissa L. Cunanan, Monalisa Truebenbach, Danielle Marie Cunanan and Anthony Cunanan his 10 precious grandchildren, Tyler, Parker, Anthony, Junuh, Daniel, Kainen, Ethan, Tristan, Bobby and Spencer and his three sonsinlaw, B.J. Christensen, Tim Truebenbach and Korey Randolph.
Tony will forever be remembered by his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
