Vicky Ann Parker

Vicky Ann Parker, 79, passed away on December 21 at Spring Valley Hospital in Las Vegas. She was a longtime resident of Pahrump, Nevada. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Carrie Parker; grandson, Charles Parker; brother, David Scott Williams (Kathy Stetler); and nephews, Eric and Christopher Williams. Her death was preceded by her parents, Margaret and Vern; husband, Allan Parker; son, David Parker; and brothers, John and Robert. Vicky was a true Nevada native, born in a hotel in Tonopah. After residing in the Rochester, New York area where she received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at the Rochester Institute of Technology, she then resided in the Chicago area, followed by Thousand Oaks, California. However, her heart always belonged to Nevada, and she spent the remainder of her life with her beloved husband, Allan Parker, in Pahrump. She always felt that Nye County was her true home. Vicky was a cherished member of her community where her smiling face was always welcoming. She was a longtime member of the town board of Pahrump where she also served as chairperson. Private cremation services have already occurred.
