Victoria Santos

 Victoria Reyes Santos, 66, of Las Vegas, passed away on January 8th 2021 in Henderson.

Victoria was born in Hagonoy, Bulacan (Philippines) to the union of Gregorio Aquino Reyes & Teodula Samson Reyes on August 26th 1954.

Victoria or "Vicki" was the 7th of 14 children, with 5 brothers & 8 sisters known to be very kind, generous, & a devout Catholic. In the Philippines she attended Arneta University Foundation High School class of 1971. Then went onto attending Far Eastern University & Martinez Central University for preparatory in nursing becoming a graduate nurse.  Then finally to Manila Central University earning herself a Bachelor of Science in nursing. 

As an intern at Martinez Memorial Hospital, she met a man named Danilo Santos. After becoming US citizens they married on April 2nd 1979. They had 2 children, Stephanie & Sean and lived in Irvine, CA.  Vicki worked full time as a Registered Nurse living in Orange County. She retired in 2014

Vicki has always had the reputation of being kind, generous, & intelligent.  Though aesthetically she was very stoic, if you wanted to know how she was feeling because her face wouldn’t tell you. However, her laugh is a contagious one, and she loved to laugh. Victoria was a strong God fearing catholic woman, who loved those she held dear to her heart without expecting anything in return. She believed hard work leads to great rewards, treat others the way you would want to be treated, & she believed in prayer & putting God above everything.

Victoria is preceded in death by her parents Gregorio & Teodula Reyes. 

Victoria is survived by her husband: Danilo B. Santos, her children: Stephanie (Terrence) & Sean (Sandy,) her siblings: Ernesto (Constance,) Zenaida. Benedicta (Artemio,) Abraham (O'felia,) Estelita (Victor,) Cesar (Rita,) Luciana, Irene, Marciana (Frank,) Gregorio Jr. (Mila,) Veronica (Fred,) Calixto (Marion,) Mary Grace, & her beloved grandchildren: Geordan-Jamal Santos Carter & Tahan Tobias "Tobie" Turner.

Funeral services will be held from 11a-1p, Thursday January 28th 2021 at Davis Funeral Homes & Memorial Park.

The family of Victoria wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the nurses at St. Rose Siena Hospital for taking care of her & giving their fellow nurse a heartfelt & comfortable goodbye.
