Violeta Gulledge

Violeta Gulledge, 80, of Sun City, CA, passed away on 12/15/2023 in Henderson, NV.

Violet was born in Abra, Philippines to Hilarion and Fausta Barbosa on 5/29/1943.

When Violet was 3 years old her parents along with her siblings left the Philippines for Maui, Hawaii. She graduated from Maui High School in 1961 then headed to Oahu, Hawaii where she met Carl Lee McKean who was stationed there in the U.S. Navy. They got married in 1963 and was married for 29 years. They had 3 children. Brad, Tracy and Cindy. While mostly being a stay at home mom and housewife, she did work some as a secretary and Office Manager when the children were older. She married Harol Gulledge in 1992 and resided in California until her passing.

Violet is preceded in death by her parents and 5 siblings. Brothers Fred, Frank and Ben Barbosa and sisters Rose Agcaoili and Linda Visitacion.

Violet is survived by Carl McKean, Harol Gulledge : Brad(Stacie) McKean, Tracy(Monique) McKean, Cindy (Chris) Wamberg: sister Helen(Paul) Sakugawa: (8) Grandchildren Stacia(Jeremy) Revera, Devin Lee, Dustin(Kelsey)Lee, Rachel McKean(Eugene Holley), Raina McKean, Kana’i (Shazlyn)McKean, Chasity McKean, Torin McKean: (7) Great -Grandchildren Aycia and Azelia Pantaleon, Alayna Holley, Kawika and Lucca Lee, Stella McKean and Ace Revera.

Memorial and Celebration of Life will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 6200 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89119.
