Virgil Norman Bullard, age 95, a long time resident of Henderson, Nevada, passed away on December 12, 2011.
Virgil was born in Laverne, Oklahoma on February 15, 1916, to the late Charles Jason and Mable Bullard. Virgil was a 34 year employee at Alcoa Aluminum Company where he was the Foreman of the Rivet Plant and a Metal Analysis Technician. He served honorably in both the Navy and Army during World War II. He enjoyed spending his days outdoors along with reading and working on cars and other electrical mechanical equipment. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints LDS.
Virgil is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Norma Bullard Son Ricky Daughter Sheree Roos 10 Grandchildren 11 great Grandchildren. Virgil was also preceded in death by his son Dennis and daughter Sandra Schnuckel.
Funeral services are set for Friday December 16, 2011 at 10:00 AM Viewing and 11:00 AM Service both at LDS Chapel located at 1002 Burkholder Blvd., Henderson, NV., 89015. Graveside services will follow at Davis Funeral Home and Memorial Park located at 6200 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV., 89119.
Family and Friends gathering will take place back at LDS Chapel following graveside services.
