Wendy Reinan

Wendy Patterson Reinan, R.N., 67, passed away suddenly Jan. 16, 2014. Born in Norwalk, Conn., Nov. 23, 1946, she spent her childhood in Norwalk and graduated in 1964 from Norwalk High School. She obtained her nursing degree from Norwalk Hospital School of Nursing in 1967. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 1981 with a masters in psychology. She retired from the Clark County School District in 1998. She was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and was a retired school nurse. Wendy loved to travel and especially grew fond of the Netherlands. She was an avid skier and scuba diver. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Chris Zavestoski granddaughter, Jadan and dear friend and companion, Louk Schipperheijn. Remembrance services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at Community Lutheran Church, 3720 E. Tropicana Ave. Her ashes will be scattered at sea. Wendy will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, a strong woman and for her adventurous spirit.
