William James Pegg

It is with profound sadness to announce that William “Bill” James Pegg, age 52, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on October 11, 2022, in Henderson, Nevada. Bill was born in Stockport, England to Mike and Ann Pegg on December 30, 1969. He attended Marple High School there and enjoyed playing soccer and rugby. He spent several years as an army cadet which he loved. He also had a passion for scooters and spent a good deal of time with his friends in their scooter club. He moved to the US and settled in Las Vegas where he eventually met and married his love, Brittany on September 18, 2004. He worked in the security field for many years and spent the last 13 years at the MGM Grand where most recently he held the position of Senior Security Manager at the Grand Garden Arena. He really loved his work and is deeply missed by his work family. He loved spending time with family and his dogs, riding his motorcycle, and watching the Green Bay Packers and the Buffalo Bills. Bill is preceded in death by his father, Michael Anthony Pegg. Bill is survived by his wife, Brittany Pegg; children, William Pegg Jr, Mia Pegg, and Bailey Pegg; sister, Maria Keyworth; sister, Liz Edge; and his mother, Ann Pegg. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89119. Interment will follow at Davis Memorial Park. Donations in Bill’s honor can be made to the Kidney Cancer Association, American Cancer Society, or A Home for Spot.
